According to news reports (click for ABC 7 video clip) a Mount Rainier police officer who has been indicted for "[allegedly luring] a 20-year-old man to his home to be in a pornographic video then shot him when he tried to flee was being investigated for a similar incident."

Jack Johnson drawing $49k pension from PG County

According to DCist, PG County will give a pension to anyone who is not convicted of a crime while in office. Well, what about the people who are convicted later for crimes they committed while in office? Jack Johnson, for example. Count me irritated that a portion of my taxes will go to reward him for his years of "service" to my county.

Sorry for the long gap between posts. There's been a series of unfortunate events severely limiting my free time.

We've reached that part of the year when it's around 100 degrees - and this ain't no Phoenix 100 degrees. Well, at least we have some bragging rights; we come in at number six on the hottest cities in the country list.
